Most recently the project has been selected by the Real Estate & Construction Review as one of the best new green projects in the Northeast region. The project will be publicized as a Green Building of America Award-winning project and is scheduled to be featured in the upcoming 2010 edition of Real Estate & Construction Review’s Northeast Green Success Stories.

Key Sustainable Facts:
• 76% of construction waste was diverted from landfills by using, sorting, and recycling during construction
• 11% of all building materials come from recycled products
• The building was designed to reduce energy use by more than 35%
• The building was designed to reduce water usage by more than 40%

The project was completed in collaboration with Larsen Engineers and Lacina Heitler Architects for the YMCA in Orange County New York.
