The target market for the residential project are upper class, working professionals seeking security, health, community, and financial benefits offered by the “Living Green by the Sea” community concepts. Optimal building design configurations shall be developed according to the site energy constraints and sustainability goals identified. Architectural and engineering design concepts considered will support advanced sustainability goals and provide award winning quality community design.

Concept design presentations shall be studied, researched, and developed according to the sustainability concepts outlined. Specific building examples and infrastructure case study data shall be presented for integrated wind power, solar concentrated electrical generation, photovoltaic panels, radiant cooling, energy recovery ventilation, occupancy sensor controls, LED and CFL lighting systems, ground source geothermal cooling, and tidal power generation. The presentation shall identify baseline development energy usage and compare to proposed design. The comparison shall quantify the projected energy savings for the design case and summarize the benefits of the “Living Green” concepts.

The presentation shall be technically complete and visually compelling. A comprehensive financial analysis shall also be considered. The “Living Green” theme brand should be consistent throughout. The strengths and experience of the design team should be emphasized for high-end residential hospitality and advanced sustainability community developments.

The project concept design was completed in collaboration with Dar Al-Handasah for Middle Eastern developer of Dubai Islands, Nakheel.
