Ikan Design Consultants in collaboration with Brasley Architecture are delivering full service design for the sustainable strawbale specification home to be built in Rush, NY. Sustainable features include strawbale envelope, geothermal heating and cooling system, in floor radiant heating and cooling, energy recovery ventilator, on demand hot water systems, and PV solar panels. Project goal is to be net zero energy consumption home. Construction is scheduled to begin Summer 2006.
