Collaboration with Fitzgerald Architecture on LEED-H Residence

Ikan collaborates with Fitzgerald Architectural Studio on the design for the residence of Principal Architect Tom Fitzgerald, AIA. This project exemplifies sustainable residential design with lofty goals for energy savings and compliance with the LEED-H rating system. Design features include, timber frame construction with stress skin panels, passive solar heating through southern exposures, in floor radiant heating, energy recovery ventilation, use of timber harvested on site for interior finishes and water and energy conservation methods to be utilized throughout.
