Planning for Green Residence

Ikan is currently in the planning stages for a 2,200 sqft private residence in the town of Honeoye, NY. Concepts include minimal site disturbance, use of native materials, in floor heating, hot water heat reclaim, low water consumption fixtures, extensive daylighting and low VOC materials. Utilization of these items along with progressive design techniques will contribute to substantial energy savings and a sustained healthy interior environment.
